Hello all,
Well I made it back to school safe and sound. There is snow EVERYWHERE!!! Still excited about my mentor. Going to email him this week. Going to spend the evening editing my story and fixing the names. After I eat something. I'm starving. I am also getting a new phone for graduation WITH AIM AND INTERNET!!!! I even told my dad I'd pay for the internet and AIM. I want it on my phone SO BAD.
Okay well that's all the news I have for now. Off to eat and edit! Oh and practice my news cast for Announcing but that'll take ten minutes LOL.

One door closes another opens
Hello all,
So as my college days come to an end I am focusing on my writing career. I just found out that this morning that a friend of my parent's has a friend who is an author/mentor and this friend might be going to mentor me and help me with my writing so I can get published. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Going to edit my latest story and email it to this person. I hope they like it. I've written seventeen novels and by far this story is by far my favorite. It is the summary I posted a few posts ago. I am in the process of editing and changing the names. Oh gosh I am SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God works in mysterious ways!!!
So tonight I was reunited with a friend I hadn't spoken to in two years. I honestly thought something awful had happened to her. we were email pals and had been emailing back and forth since I was fifteen. But suddenly she stopped emailing me two years ago and I had no way of contacting her. I thought our friendship was over and I even deleted her email from my address book, keeping it in a sent item just in case I ever wanted to email her. I emailed her sometimes over the last two years but not often. Its no fun taking fifteen minutes to email someone who's never going to respond. Anyway, tonight she friended me on FB and I am beyond thrilled and shocked. I never thought I would hear from her again. So that is my exciting news for tonight. Oh and I got to page seventeen in my story. Going to write more tmw!!!

Well I studied until four and then visited with my grandma and chatted with the Bestie for a bit. Then watched some TV and worked on my story. I am on page fourteen. And I promised a summary of my story didn't I? Well here is the summary for the story that comes before the one I'm working on now.
There Is No Future There Is No Past
Sisters Addison and Violet Montgomery have spent the last nine months trying to move on from an attack that changed both their lives while at the same time trying to help the patients at their California clinic. Addison, an OB/GYN and Violet, a therapist, are tryiing to help the people of LA but even they aren't prepared for what will happen next.
When a man comes into the clinic with no memory of himself or how he got there Addison quickly discovers something isn't right, only to find out everyone in the entire world has lost their memories except for a select few, Addison, Violet and their co-workers being some of the few lucky ones. Along with several others, the doctors must race against time to figure out why the whole world has suddenly gone blank, even if it means risking their lives.
Okay so that is story number one and right now I am working on the sequel to it. I will post that summery at a later date. Now I am off to write!

Here is more science facts. Bear with me. I have a test and I want to see how much of this stuff I'm obsorbing. So i told you about bathymetry and the four ways to measure and I told you about the three proviences of the ocean and their features. Now let me tell you how rift valleys are formed and the three ways to study the earth's interior.
Rift valleys are formed by a process called faulting, where the solid rocks breaks apart.
The three ways the earth's interior is studied: the first way is that the earth's interior is studied by the indirect observation of the path and speed of earthquake waves. The second way the earth is stuided is noting the variations of the gravational and magnetic field. And the third way is noting how much heat escapes from the earth's interior.
Also, the word Viscosoty means that the temperature changes with the pressure. The higher the pressure the higher the tempature. So if the pressure is high then an boject that would normally melt would stay hard and solid. The litosphere is the upper most crust, and it is hard and brittle. Then there is the athsosphere and it is soft and then there is the mesosphere. There are two crusts. Oceanic and contential. Contiental crust is made of granite and ocanic crust is made of basalt.

In the midst of studying oceanography. it's interesting and i'm learning a lot. Okay well i'm saying its interesting. I've already learned a lot. Here is my very first poem ever!!!
Ocean
The ocean is fierce, waves crashing against the shore
The sound wakens me and I am lulled to the water
I hear nothing but the waves, fast and strong
But I no longer feel fear, only joy as I sing a song
My voice is lost, the waves beating against the shore
I can feel cool liquid against my skin as I sing
Somewhere a seagull calls, flying high above
It too is also singing a lovely song
As it sours through the cloudless sky
Together we sing a song that is not harmony
But is beautiful just the same
Me, the bird and the waves of the ocean
Each with our own voice.
One soft and timid, one loud and shrill
And one angry and fierce
And as I look out over the never ending water
The waves are beautiful, crashing against the shore
And I am not afraid of them anymore.

Hello out there,
Well since this is my first time blogging I guess I should explain a little about myself. I am a Christian college student who is majoring in sociology at a small Christian school. I also love learning American Sign language and have been signing for threee, almsot four years. But my true passion and the reason for my blog title is writing. I love to write stories. I am always writing stories and story ideas are constantly running through my head. Not to brag but I have written seventeen novels to date. I hope to get published after I graduate.
Now that you know my love for writing let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a girl and I am a Christian and I am visually impaired, in that order. I was born early, at three and a half months, which is at twenty four weeks. I weighed one pound and spent six months in the hospital, with nurses and a feeding tube a year after that once released. I was a triplet and was the youngest and smallest of us three.
Besides writing I love to sing as well as read. I am, however, very picky about what I read. A book has to be good and grip me from the begining before I consider reading it. my favorite kinds of books are Young Adult and futurisitc/fantasy and also Christian Fiction. My favorite author is Karen Kingsbury and I hope to be as great of a writer as she is.
As far as music goes, I LOVE Broadway. That is my favorite genre and i am always listening to it. My all time favorite musical is Wicked and its at the top of the list because I saw it with my best friend, who is like a sister to me and I thank God everyday for our friendship and for Him placing her in my life. I love Wicked because it talks about friendship and about not seeing just the outside but seeing the inside as well. My second favorite musical is RENT. I love RENT because of the 'No day but today' theme. And besides, the music is AMAZING. My third favorite is Pirate Queen and the music in that is amazing, not to mention my favorite actress Stephanie J. Block starred as Grace O'Malley. And its about ireland, which i love. My best friend and I are going to go to Ireland together one day.
Okay well that's about it for now. I will be using this blog to update about my stories. As I have said earlier, I have written seventeen novels and I hope to get my latest one published. But one thing I did forget to mention is my favorite TV shows. I don't have many but the ones I do like a lot are Private Practice, Gilmore Girls, Life Unexpected, Glee, ER, Providence, and 7th Heaven. Okay so maybe that's a lot. Some of the ones I mentioned are no longer on the air but I still love them.
Okay now I really am going. i am a bit of a chatty catty so make sure you have some time before reading this. I tend to ramble, and my story explanations are pretty long winded.
